AI becomes far more powerful when context doesn’t disappear between one task and the next. Analyzed documents, abstracted leases, and generated answers are rarely endpoints; they become the foundation for another question, a detail that needs validation, or a decision that still needs to be made.
That’s where we’ve been focused lately: keeping the information, context, and following action connected.
A completed workflow often opens the door to further analysis.
With Chat with Workflows, users can now open a Keypilot conversation directly alongside a completed KeyDocs workflow and continue exploring the results without starting over.
Answers remain connected to the supporting documents, making it easy to validate details at the source.
We also introduced Clarifying Questions, allowing Keypilot to ask for missing context before proceeding. If a request is ambiguous—for example, asking to summarize obligations when several leases are available—Keypilot can clarify the intended scope rather than making an assumption.

Together, these additions help teams move from extracted information to the next decision while keeping the context intact.

The value of intelligence depends not only on what it can do, but on how easily it can be accessed when it matters. Keypilot now extends into Microsoft Teams, bringing Keyway intelligence directly into the conversations where professionals are already working.
Teams can ask questions about documents, properties, leases, and portfolios, attach files for analysis, and continue follow-up conversations without leaving Microsoft Teams.
The integration respects each user's existing Keyway permissions, so access to documents and information remains consistent across both environments.

Last year, more than 150 real estate professionals participated in our research on AI Adoption.
Now, we're conducting our second industry study: AI Maturity in Commercial Real Estate.
The conversation has evolved, and the question is no longer whether firms are experimenting with AI, but what separates organizations that successfully move from isolated pilots to enterprise-wide deployment.
Everyone who participates will receive the final report, including key findings and actionable insights.
Range Commercial Partners offers a clear example of what AI embedded in a real CRE workflow can deliver: faster bid comparisons, less manual effort, and greater consistency in client deliverables.

At Keyway, we’re constantly testing the boundaries of what AI can do in commercial real estate—not just responding to where the technology is today, but building for where we believe it is going.
Increasingly, that means looking beyond the intelligence of any individual model and focusing on what allows that intelligence to compound: persistent context across documents, data, permissions, decisions, and prior analysis.
In an industry as data-heavy and complex as commercial real estate, built on years of transactions, relationships, and institutional knowledge, preserving that context creates something far more valuable than a better answer. It develops an intelligence layer that becomes richer and more useful with every interaction.
There’s a lot more we’re working on, and plenty more happening across the industry. We’ll be back with the developments we think are worth paying attention to.
Thanks for reading. If you'd like to learn more about any of these updates or see how Keyway can help your team, we'd love to connect.
